(TheConservativeTimes.org) – Artificial intelligence has been wedging its way into many industries and now it has entered the online dating world.
As of 2024, the online dating world is looking different, and people utilizing AI in their dating lives is becoming more common every day. In fact, in the United States, 1 in 3 men ages 18 to 34 used ChatGPT for relationship advice. Whereas 14% of women, of the same age group, used ChatGPT for relationship advice.
Many startups have also been focusing on AI that can write messages for you to send to matches when online dating. One particular example of this was a Russian man who programmed an AI chatbot to talk to more than 5,000 women on Tinder, but he’s not engaged to any of them.
These AI apps and services are becoming quite popular and people are seeing their benefits. Some people have used programs like ChatGPT or YourMove AI to draft messages to send to romantic interests, analyze conversations, make dating profiles, and so many other online dating-related tasks.
YourMove AI’s founder, Dmitri Mirakyan said “The types of people that use this – you’d think it’s mostly just people that feel awkward, but there’s a ton of people who are just introverts.” Many people spoke out saying that they’ve used these AI chatbots to draft messages to send because many find that dating can be difficult.
Roman Khaves came up with Rizz, which is an AI dating assistant. Khaves spoke out saying “It’s become like a second job for many people – people are struggling. There’s a lot of competition out there. Not only do people need to have great photos that stand out, but they also need to know how to start these conversations on dating apps.”
AI in the dating world is expected to take off as online dating is a primary source of romance now. Many have utilized this to help them with messages and dating when they just don’t know what to say, and to many, it can be a great way to improve their conversation and language skills.
