ALERT: ‘Execution Street’ Reveals Grim Discovery

Red alert light against black background, text ALERT.

(TheConservativeTimes.org) – In a shocking revelation, mass graves tied to Bashar al-Assad’s brutal regime have been discovered in Damascus after rebels toppled the Syrian dictator.

The alarming finding of an “execution street” exposes how far Assad’s reign of terror went against innocent civilians.

After Assad fled to Moscow seeking asylum, journalists and investigators have been finally able to access areas previously off-limits and uncover evidence of mass graves.

One particularly disturbing site, located in Damascus’ Tadamon district, has been linked to a 2013 massacre captured on video.

Released in 2022, the footage provided chilling evidence of the regime’s brutality as it showed military personnel executing blindfolded civilians.

Local residents have referred to the area as “execution street,” revealing that Assad’s forces forced locals to dig mass graves.

Sky News reporter Diana Magnay described the horrifying scene at one of the mass grave sites.

“When we arrived there, there were small children with shovels and buckets full of human bones,” Magnay said.

The scale of Assad’s atrocities is staggering. Since the beginning of the Syrian civil war in 2011, over 14 million Syrians have been displaced and around 617,910 have been killed.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has emphasized that “relevant organizations should have access to facilities that can help determine the fate of missing Syrians and foreign nationals—and eventually hold abusers accountable.”

Although the fall of Assad’s regime has led to the release of thousands of Syrians from prisons, many more remain missing.

As investigations continue, the international community has been called to provide support to document these atrocities and bring those responsible to justice.
