Argentine President Warns Against Socialism and Collectivism

(TheConservativeTimes.org) – Javier Milei, New Argentine President, surprised many with a speech he gave at the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum that was held in Switzerland.

His speech was set on calling out Western elites for collectivism. “Today I’m here to tell you that the Western world is in danger. And it is in danger because those who are supposed to have defended the values of the West are co-opted by a vision of the world that inevitably leads to socialism and thereby to poverty,” Milei said. He quickly spoke out about leftism and the adverse effects of it, as well as collectivism in the Western world.

“We’re here to tell you that collectivist experiments are never the solution to the problems that afflict the citizens of the world, rather they are the root cause,” Milei said in front of the WEF. “The main leaders of the Western world have abandoned the model of freedom for different versions of what we call collectivism,” he continued.

Many people took to social media to praise the New Argentine President for brazenly calling out these leftist leaders straight to their faces at a conference meeting. Milei states that there are no better people than the Argentines to speak on this as they have a history of Socialism and know what should be done instead.

People quickly came to social media to support the new Argentine President and praise him for what he said. Frank Fleming, kids’ show writer, posted “Why can’t we get a guy like this in America? This is supposed to be our thing,” on X, formerly Twitter.

Paul Szypula, conservative commentator, compared Milei to Trump saying, “Javier Milei drops truth bombs just like Trump. Gotta love it and what it means at the very least for the people of Argentina.”
