(TheConservativeTimes.org) – Exposing the depths of liberal media bias, Kamala Harris’ corrupt schemes during her failed presidential campaign have been brought to light.
Harris’ campaign secretly funneled $500,000 to Al Sharpton’s nonprofit before a glowing MSNBC interview.
This explains how Harris received favorable media coverage even though the Biden administration was dealing with declining support.
Federal Election Commission records show that the Harris-Walz campaign made two $250,000 donations to Sharpton’s National Action Network on September 5 and October 1.
Just weeks later, Sharpton conducted a fawning interview with Harris on MSNBC on October 20.
Sharpton praised Harris’ “extraordinary historic campaign” and compared her to civil rights icon Shirley Chisholm.
The massive payout was part of the Harris campaign’s broader $5.4 million effort to court minority voters through activist organizations.
This came as polls showed declining support for Democrats among black and Latino voters, mainly men.
Despite outspending Trump by hundreds of millions, Harris still lost all seven battleground states in a humiliating defeat.
In turn, MSNBC claimed it was “unaware” of the massive donation to its own host’s organization before the softball interview aired.
The Society of Professional Journalists slammed the arrangement, stating, “This kind of entanglement harms the credibility of the journalist, the news organization, and journalism overall.”
“While Sharpton may not consider himself a journalist, many viewers do,” the Society added.
Although Sharpton has had a long history of inflammatory anti-Semitic rhetoric and race-baiting, Harris praised him as an “extraordinary leader” and “voice of truth” during the interview, never disclosing the massive payoff.
The Harris campaign’s wild spending extended beyond Sharpton. They gave $1 million to Oprah Winfrey’s production company and blew $2.5 million on a single town hall event.
In the end, Harris and her allies raised over $1.6 billion – more than four times Trump’s haul – but still ended up $20 million in debt after their crushing defeat.
