(TheConservativeTimes.org) – Democrats are worried that Donald Trump may take the lead in the election, despite many polls showing that Kamala Harris is leading the presidential race.
Many national surveys have shown that there are consistent but moderate leads with Kamala Harris, however, some supporters are worried about how small her advantage is in the northern battleground states such as Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. There has been a lot of talk stating that these states are a must-win for Kamala Harris to see a victory in the presidential race.
Polls have shown that the Vice President has a four to six-point lead in Pennsylvania, which is said to be the most important swing state. However, some other polling results have shown that Trump is in the lead by a small amount of points.
Something that is making Democrats more nervous about the results is that Donald Trump won his last election by outperforming in all three states, which wasn’t anticipated. The latest New York/Siena Poll has shown that Trump is performing well in three Sun Belt battleground states including North Carolina, Arizona, and Georgia.
Projections are also showing that Donald Trump will win all seven designated battleground states while projections from Focaldata show that Kamala Harris’ lead would drop by two percent across swing states.
Focaldata’s Patrick Flynn said, “In an election, which could be decided by just sixty thousand voters in November, this margin could easily be the difference between a right and wrong call on the election winner.”
“Pollsters who simply rely on self-reporting in defining likely voters may be subject to another polling miss in Trump’s favor,” he continued.
There’s also fear, because it’s been shown that both Clinton and Biden were performing better against Donald Trump than Kamala Harris is now, when they were running against him.
