(TheConservativeTimes.org) – On Sunday, the hit TV series Family Guy roasted Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle. This third episode of the 22nd season taunted the couple for making a lot of money for no apparent work.
Family Guy is a comedy TV series created by Seth MacFarlane in 1999. The cartoon, a show made for adults, is known for being irreverent. In Harry’s infamous 2023 memoir Spare, he admitted to smoking marijuana with his school friends before watching Family Guy. Harry was fond of the Stewie character, the intelligent baby in the show. He said Stewie was a “prophet” who did not have “honor.”
During the latest episode, the main character, Peter Griffin, says he wants to go on an adventure all on his own “just like” how Harry and Meghan did. In the next scene, Meghan and Harry are near a mansion. They were tanning themselves in the sun next to a pool.
A servant attempted to hand the duke some envelopes. He said they were from Netflix for “no one knows what” and contained millions of dollars. Harry waves him away and tells the butler to add it to the pile of the millions he had previously received. This clip mocked the couple’s Archewell organization. This corporation produced three docuseries as part of the couple’s $100 million deal with Netflix.
After the servant leaves, Meghan tells Harry they must create a Del Taco Instagram post. Meghan said they needed to earn their daily $250,000 sponsorship from the taco eatery. Slightly annoyed, Harry lamented leaving England by saying he should not have abandoned “the made-up nonsense.”
On February 15, 2023, South Park, another adult cartoon, aired an episode that roasted the duke and duchess for wanting privacy. Oprah Winfrey has interviewed the real-life couple on her show, leading observers to say the couple intentionally tries to stay in the spotlight.
The South Park episode spent most of its time following Canada’s “Prince and Princess” on their “The World Wide Privacy Tour.” Two characters, who looked similar to Harry and Meghan, held signs and chanted about wanting privacy. While traveling across the globe, the pair succeeded in capturing the attention of everyone they came across.
