Kamala Harris Focuses on “Blue Wall” States to Woo Key Voters

(TheConservativeTimes.org) – Many have been looking at Kamala Harris’ campaigns with excitement, but the question still remains if she can turn this excitement into active voters for this upcoming election.

Experts are looking at the “blue wall” states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin as these are where Kamala Harris will most likely find a thriving group of democratic voters. Harris has been focusing her campaigns on wooing these voters as they may be the states that will determine the election.

Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz headed to Wisconsin for another campaign, her third one, in the battleground state. Walz also made surprise visits to Wisconsin and Pennsylvania breakfasts on Monday and stated his mission.

Under the United States presidential system, the forty-four electoral votes between the blue wall states have been enough to win presidential cycles and tip candidates over into a victory in the past. The one president that took over these states by the narrowest margin that didn’t run for Democrats was Donald Trump, who was able to break down the blue wall states as a Republican nominee.

The excitement around Kamala taking a stand as the Democratic nominee could have been the perfect thing to put Democrats in the lead. More than forty thousand people have signed up as Democratic volunteers since Harris became the Democratic nominee over Biden.

Ben Wikler, chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party, said that “every single metric that we can track is going up.” He continued, “We have had more volunteers sign up since Kamala Harris became our nominee than the margin of victory in 2016 and 2020. Energy is through the roof, in every part of the state.”
