The early morning raid resulted in the arrest of Anderson Zambrano-Pacheco, wanted for multiple charges in Colorado, including kidnapping, assault, and burglary.
Two other individuals were also taken into custody, with one facing an international warrant for homicide.
Conservatives have praised Noem’s hands-on approach, earning her nicknames like “ICE Barbie” and “American Badass.”

“We are picking up the worst of the worst in this country that are making our streets so dangerous. The community is safer now. That’s the reality of it,” Noem said.

President Donald Trump has made it clear that these cities may face funding cuts if they continue to obstruct federal law enforcement efforts.
Border czar Tom Homan has defended the president’s mass deportation plan, emphasizing that they are simply enforcing existing laws.
“Congress has a job to do,” Homan stated. “We’re enforcing the laws that Congress enacted and a president signed. If they don’t like it, change the law.”
Noem’s leadership at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) marks a significant shift from the previous administration’s policies.
She reported that three times more criminal illegal immigrants are being arrested compared to before, and encounters at the southern border have decreased.

“We’ve sent a message clearly to the world: ‘Don’t come here. If you’re an illegal and if you’re dangerous, we have a target on you, and you will not be welcome and we will remove you,'” the secretary stated.
