(TheConservativeTimes.org) – Missouri’s bold move against illegal immigration is set to shake up the nation as State Senator-elect David Gregory put forward a groundbreaking bill.
The bill’s centerpiece is the “Missouri Illegal Alien Certified Bounty Hunter Program,” which would empower licensed bail bond agents and surety recovery agents to detain illegal aliens.
Watch Gregory explain the bill in the video down below.
Gregory’s proposal would offer a $1,000 reward for reporting illegal aliens, making their mere presence a felony.
This fresh approach could position Missouri as a trailblazer in the fight against unchecked immigration.
As introduced by Gregory, Senate Bill 72 proposes creating a thorough reporting system managed by Missouri’s Department of Public Safety.
This system would include a hotline, email and online portal, making it easier than ever for citizens to report suspected illegal aliens.
“As I ran for State Senate, I promised to make Missouri a national leader in combating illegal immigration,” Gregory stated.
“Now, I’m following through with my promise. SB 72 makes it a felony to be here illegally and the bill will finally allow Missouri law enforcement to find and arrest illegal immigrants,” he added.
Gregory’s proposal aligns with President-elect Donald Trump’s plan for mass deportation of illegal migrants.
The bill’s proactive approach is particularly noteworthy. “We need all hands on deck to ensure we catch illegal immigrants BEFORE they commit violent crimes,” Gregory explained.
Critics may cry foul, but this bill addresses a pressing issue that affects the safety and economic well-being of American citizens.
By making it a felony to be in Missouri illegally, the state is sending a clear message: respect our laws or face the consequences.
The $1,000 reward serves as a powerful incentive for citizens to actively participate in protecting their communities.
