(TheConservativeTimes.org) – What should have been a typical commute turned into a tragedy when a man was killed during a deadly road rage incident on U.S. Highway 36 in Westminster, Colorado.
The incident unfolded in the westbound lanes of U.S. 36 near Church Ranch Boulevard, involving three vehicles.
A 30-year-old truck driver exited his vehicle to confront another driver. However, this decision proved fatal when a westbound SUV struck him.
Despite being rushed to the hospital, the truck driver was later pronounced dead. His identity has not been released by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office yet.
In a disturbing twist, investigators found an open container in the dead truck driver’s vehicle.
This discovery suggests that alcohol may have been a contributing factor to the confrontation, potentially impairing the driver’s judgment and decision-making abilities.
The incident caused significant disruption to local traffic, with westbound U.S. 36 closed for several hours as authorities conducted their investigation.
As of now, no charges or arrests have been made, and the investigation is still ongoing.
