Trump Agrees But Insists It’s Because of Biden

(TheConservativeTimes.org) – Dropping a bombshell during a Fox News interview, President Donald Trump has agreed that “Inflation is back” but he’s placing the blame squarely on his predecessor Joe Biden’s spending spree.

During a conversation with Sean Hannity, Trump made it clear that the inflation woes we face today are not of his making.

He pointed to a staggering $9 trillion expenditure during Biden’s presidency, spent on what he termed the “Green New Scam.”

These funds, he argues, have driven up prices, especially in areas of fuel and essentials.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics notes that consumer prices have seen a 3% increase year-over-year.

A major concern lies in how these spending policies could destabilize economic growth.

High spending and increased production costs combine to heat the economy beyond its means.

Trump’s critics, however, claim the issue is more complex, attributing inflation to various global factors like the war in Ukraine and supply chain disruptions.

The impact of inflation is felt across many sectors. January marked the largest monthly price hike since August 2023, with fuel and egg prices hitting all-time highs.

These soaring costs could hamper the Federal Reserve’s ability to curb interest rates, affecting choices from home loans to small business investments.

Meanwhile, the former administration maintained that initiatives like the Inflation Reduction Act have delivered some savings through tax enforcement and drug pricing reforms.

“They were given $9 trillion to throw out the window — $9 trillion, and they spent it on the Green New Scam, I call it,” Trump stated.

Economists are divided on addressing the issue.

Some experts, including Ben Bernanke, agree that significant spending has overheated the economy.

Others highlight regional challenges like bird flu and sanctions affecting fuel costs.

While Biden’s policies are blamed by Trump and his supporters, responsibility for resolving these pressing issues now seems to rest with Trump.

The solutions remain uncertain but pressing. With tariffs potentially offsetting any benefits from spending cuts or tax reductions, it’s clear the road ahead will require patience and resolve.

American patriots are watching closely, hopeful for leadership that will reassure and propel our nation forward without sacrificing the constitutional principles we hold dear.

“I had nothing to do with it. These people have — have run the country. They spent money like nobody has ever spent,” Trump said further.
