(TheConservativeTimes.org) – Donald Trump’s ground game operation in the battleground states is now outsourced to American Pac, a political action committee run by Elon Musk.
The Trump campaign focused on Super Pacs and targeted Trump supporters in rural areas who don’t usually vote. However, American Pac is the largest of the organizations and they have almost four hundred paid and part-time people knocking on doors in seven of the battleground states.
American Pac is the only entity with the target to perform “three passes” of homes of likely Trump voters in every battleground state prior to the election.
Turning Point Action is another group that was run by Charlie Kirk, but they have had a smaller footprint and stepped away from certain districts. This leaves American Pac to take over the majority of the battleground states and be responsible for contacting potential voters.
American Pac just fired the groups they had on door-knocking and canvassing campaigns in Arizona and Nevada. This has had consequences for Trump as American Pac lost several days of canvassing and lost some of the people they hired as well.
The Trump campaign has said that they have more than twenty-seven thousand volunteers working as “Trump 47 Captains.” Each volunteer has a list of about ten neighbors to mobilize and if they meet the target, then they move up a tier canvassing a larger area.
“Team Trump has hundreds of staff and offices mobilizing hundreds of thousands of volunteers across the country,” said Trump spokesperson Karoline Leavitt. “That’s why everyone wants to take credit for our groundbreaking, data-enhanced, people-powered operation.”
Some involved with the American Pac have been skeptical about the reach of these captains and volunteers. However, if Trump does win this year’s election then it could definitely be partly thanks to Trump.
