Trump Vows to Win New York in Long Island Rally

(TheConservativeTimes.org) – Donald Trump recently held a rally at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, his first rally since his recent attempted assassination.

While at the rally, he stated “we are going to win New York,” despite it being a deep blue state that only voted Republican one time in the eighties for Ronald Reagan.

Security was very tight for the rally due to the two assassination attempts on Trump; there were bomb-sniffing dogs, visible sharpshooters, helicopters overhead, and undercover operatives within the crowd as well.

Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman said, “For this event, we have to keep it airtight … All working together, our federal, state and law enforcement and Homeland Security partners. This will be a very, very safe place.”

Donald Trump’s speech lasted for ninety minutes and he stated that he could win New York State, which previously was carried by Joe Biden with a twenty-three point lead.

Trump said he would reinstate a tax deduction “Saving thousands of dollars for residents of New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and other high-cost states.”

He continued to attack immigrants and referenced reports of rapes in Queens and Brooklyn, where he would deport migrants.

Trump said, “I’ve been talking about them for five years now.” He continued, “I said if you let them in, it will be hell. They are vicious, violent criminals that are being let into our country.”

Although Donald Trump might not be able to flip the state fully Republican, he was invited to Long Island by the Republican Nassau County to help bolster Republican candidates.
