BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Another alarming aviation incident has rocked America as a skydiving plane with 20 people on board crashed shortly after takeoff in Tennessee.

Watch the video down below.

The de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft clipped trees near Tullahoma Regional Airport before crashing in a grassy field.

The crash occurred about 75 miles southeast of Nashville and has raised fresh concerns about aviation safety amid a troubling year for plane crashes.

According to local authorities, the aircraft went down shortly after departing Tullahoma Regional Airport, creating a frantic scene as emergency responders rushed to the site.

Despite the severity of the crash, remarkably no fatalities were reported. However, four individuals required hospitalization, with two in critical condition.

Three victims were airlifted by helicopter while one was transported by ground to nearby medical facilities.

Local authorities quickly secured the crash site, blocking access to the public while emergency personnel worked.

Social media footage showed the plane broken apart in a field surrounded by law enforcement vehicles and fire trucks as first responders assessed the situation.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol joined local first responders at the scene on Old Shelbyville Road.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the aircraft clip trees near the airport before going down, which likely contributed to the crash but may have also helped slow the plane’s descent.

The Federal Aviation Administration has launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.

This incident comes amid growing concerns about aviation safety following several high-profile plane incidents across the United States this year.

While authorities have not released the identities of those injured, officials confirmed that all passengers and crew have been accounted for.

The quick response by emergency personnel likely prevented a much worse outcome in what could have been a devastating tragedy.

Due to its reliability and capacity, the DHC-6 Twin Otter is a versatile aircraft commonly used for skydiving operations.

Local residents are being advised to avoid the area as the investigation continues.

The FAA is expected to provide additional updates as more information becomes available about what caused this potentially deadly incident.
