(TheConservativeTimes.org) – Democrat strategist James Carville attacked Kamala Harris by exposing the left’s disastrous decision to field her as their presidential candidate.
See the video below.
Carville’s scathing critique reveals the Democrats’ desperation and incompetence, likening Harris to a “seventh-string quarterback” in the Super Bowl of elections.
Carville, known for his no-nonsense approach, did not mince words when assessing the Democrat Party’s current predicament.
In a recent interview on PBS’s Firing Line, he unleashed a blistering attack on the party’s leadership and their choice of Harris as a potential presidential nominee.
Carville bluntly stated:
“We ran a presidential election. If we were playing in a Super Bowl, we started our seventh string quarterback. That’s what happened. Okay, let’s – you can’t you can’t address a problem unless you’re honest about a problem. And none of this was inevitable. Never should have happened.”
This damning assessment comes from a seasoned Democrat strategist, highlighting the growing crisis within the party.
Carville’s criticism extends beyond Harris, pointing fingers at the party’s leadership for their poor decision-making and lack of strategy.
“Joe Biden stands over this disaster like a colossus. He just does. I mean, you can’t – he’s a great guy, James you shouldn’t say that – he’s a wonderful man. Who cares? If you don’t win the g*ddamn election, you’ve done nothing! Zip, nada,” he continued.
“You don’t count. I don’t care how good a man you are. Until Democrats learn that and quit keeping their head in the cloud and talking goofy language and no one else talks. We got to be, you know, nice to people. Screw that! Run over them,” Carville added.
Moreover, Carville’s frustration is palpable as he laments the Democrats’ inability to showcase their “staggering talent.”
He argued that the party has failed to put forward candidates who can effectively communicate and inspire voters, leaving them with Harris, who he implies can barely “complete a sentence.”
The strategist’s critique extends to Harris’s inability to handle unscripted conversations and effectively communicate with voters.
Interestingly, Carville’s current stance marks a significant shift from his earlier optimism. In a New York Times column, he had previously praised Harris’s coalition-building efforts and predicted her victory.
Carville retains a hopeful but critical stance, lamenting the absence of an “inspirational presidential candidate” since 2012.
Democrats will need to confront internal weaknesses and elevate a nominee who exemplifies strength and articulates the party’s vision with clarity to capture U.S. voters’ imagination.
