(TheConservativeTimes.org) – It seems the most important country in the world is worth a mere few thousand dollars because that is what American unpatriotic soldiers betrayed their country for.
Specifically, three US Army soldiers were arrested for selling military secrets to Communist China in exchange for at least $15,000 each.

The FBI’s stunning arrests exposed a dangerous plot that threatened national security and military capabilities at a time when China continues to challenge American dominance in the Pacific.
Active-duty US Army soldiers Jian Zhao and Li Tian, both stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington state, along with former soldier Ruoyu Duan, were arrested after a months-long investigation.
The three are accused of stealing and selling classified military information to buyers in China, including technical details about vital weapons systems like HIMARS rocket launchers and armored fighting vehicles.
The Department of Justice revealed that Zhao received at least $15,000 for selling classified hard drives and sensitive military documents marked “SECRET” and “TOP SECRET” to Chinese buyers since August 2024.
Meanwhile, in exchange for payment, Tian and Duan conspired to steal technical manuals and sensitive information about Bradley and Stryker armored vehicles, crucial equipment for America’s ground forces.
US Attorney General Pam Bondi did not mince words about the severity of these actions:
“The defendants arrested today are accused of betraying our country, actively working to weaken America’s defense capabilities and empowering our adversaries in China. They will face swift, severe, and comprehensive justice.”
This case is just the latest example of China’s aggressive espionage campaign against American military and technological secrets.
Under federal indictments in Oregon and Washington state, the soldiers face serious charges including conspiracy, bribery of a public official, theft of government property, and transmitting national defense information. These crimes could result in decades behind bars.
FBI Director Kash Patel did not hold back in his assessment:
“While bribery and corruption have thrived under China’s Communist Party, this behavior cannot be tolerated with our service members who are entrusted with sensitive military information, including national defense information.”
The FBI’s Seattle Field Office warned potential traitors that American counterintelligence is vigilant and effective.
Special Agent W. Mike Herrington stated, “These arrests should send a message to would-be spies that we and our partners have the will and the ability to find you, track you down, and hold you to account.”
Military leadership expressed alarm at the growing threat. “These arrests underscore the persistent and increasing foreign intelligence threat facing our Army and nation,” said Brigadier General Rhett R. Cox, Commanding General of Army Counterintelligence Command.
This betrayal comes at a particularly dangerous time, as tensions between the United States and China continue to escalate over Taiwan, the South China Sea, and global influence.
The stolen information could give China’s military significant insights into American weapons systems and battlefield tactics, potentially endangering American soldiers’ lives in any future conflict.
