Woke US Military Faces Massive Recruitment Issues

(TheConservativeTimes.org) – Pentagon reports indicate that by 2024, the US military will have shrunk to its lowest size and qualification levels in almost 80 years. This development raises genuine worries about national security and readiness in light of the ever-changing nature of international challenges.

According to reports, the number of active-duty members fell to levels not seen since the early 1940s, before WWII. With a substantial deficit of 41,000 people this year, the growing difficulties in military recruiting are visible. This disparity exemplifies the deepening chasm between the current generation and the military elites.

The interim Pentagon undersecretary for personnel and readiness, Ashish Vazirani, has acknowledged that the military services have recently reduced their goal numbers for active troops due to the problematic recruiting environment.

The COVID-19 vaccination regulations and the more ‘woke’ military climate have made recruiting difficult, with trans troops receiving preferential treatment while Christian soldiers face persecution. Military bases host drag queen events, and officials with a record of anti-white remarks are appointed.

The military accomplished its staffing and recruiting targets in 2020–2021 with relative ease during the administration of former President Donald Trump, as pointed out by Representative Matt Gaetz (R-Fla). But during Biden’s administration, the Air Force, the Army, and the Navy failed to meet their recruitment goals in 2022.

However, the newly formed Space Force and the Marine Corps accomplished their missions.

Gaetz argues that this lack of success indicates more systemic problems stemming from mixed-up priorities. The shrinking supply of competent candidates is making matters worse.

According to military officials, the declining proportion of young adults who fulfill the academic, moral, and physical requirements for military duty is a concerning trend. The main reasons someone can’t be recruited include being overweight, not having completed high school, and having a criminal record.

The vast majority of U.S. citizens between the ages of 17 and 24 do not meet the requirements to serve in the military, according to a study published early this year by a group of retired generals.

Factors pertaining to physical health, such as obesity, factors related to academics (a high school graduation or GED is required for military duty), and factors related to social and behavioral aspects, such as drug abuse and criminal histories, are among the many reasons listed in the study as causes for military ineligibility.
